The product can record portrait video even from a distance of 2 feet as well as night video as far as 6 feet. While most of the video doorbells cannot decrease deep shadows and bright highlights leading to clouded details in the footage, the latest product by Logitech can minimize this problem. The device can also recognize people, animals, and vehicles in the footage. Users get the option to tag the people they know so they can get people notifications. Moreover, the system announces the arrival of people. The captured data is stored and uploaded to the owner’s iCloud account.
The device costs $199.99 USD for self-installation. Users will have to pay an additional $100 if they need a hassle-free installation backed by a professional. Since it is compatible only with Apple HomeKit, Android users have to scout elsewhere.
