LG Might Soon Launch its New Rollable Phone

On March 19, the new LG rollable smartphone was found listed on the Bluetooth SIG site. The phone has received a certification from the set and rumour has it that it will release soon. The company has been giving a teaser about this phone for quite a few months now.

Last month, there was a rumour about LG scrapping off this project, to which the company responded in denial immediately. And now, we know that the phone will release anytime this year.

What do We Know About this New LG Phone?

The model number of the LG rollable appears to be LM-R910N. Being certified by Bluetooth SIG, it supports Bluetooth 5.2. Even though specific features of this phone haven’t been disclosed yet, we do know that this is a rollable smartphone, just like the Oppo X which is rumoured to release in a few days.

What is a Rollable Phone?

You’ve probably seen foldable phones by Samsung, like the Galaxy Z Fold 2, which has 2 screens. When you unfold the phone, you’ll find a wider screen which makes your device look more like a tablet.

A rollable phone is a lot of sophisticated and advanced, probably the new future of smartphones. Your phone can expand into a tablet as you stretch it from the side. The fun part is that the screen appears from nowhere! The display of the screen is so fine, that you wouldn’t be able to possibly see the line from where it is extending.

Now LG phones haven’t been selling very well so far. It is way behind the giants Apple and Samsung as of now. Do you think this model could make a difference for them?
