If you’ve landed on this page, we’re assuming you view and put-up Instagram stories. This Facebook-owned app has become one of the biggest social media platforms in the world today. It is used by over 1 billion people and various celebrities, sportspersons and influencers.
What started off as a simple-to-use app, now has many features and settings. Now they are trying out a new feature to roll out for the consumers.
The feature in talks today is how you view stories. There has been a leak which showcases this new feature. It resembles another famous social media platform – Tik Tok. Earlier in Instagram, users needed to swipe left to right to view stories. However, now you can swipe from up to down to view your stories – just like you do in Tik Tok. This new looks makes viewing stories even easier and more fun for the users.
With so many new features and options, Instagram is becoming more and more confusing. Various users have complained how Instagram has copied features from its rivals. Their video offering is the most confusing to scroll to with Reels, IGTV juggling stories and standard feeds focusing on videos.
However, this new way of viewing stories is already under testing and is expected to roll out very soon in the coming days. The question is – will it make the app easier to use and solve some of the problems that consumers have been facing?
